Orkut Tips - How To Add Blog Feed Application to your Orkut Profile ?!!! - Pallav
Well, I have found out that many people actually don't actually know How To Add Blog Feed Application to his/her Orkut Profile. Nowadays with so many blogs on the Run everyone depends on Post Feeds to keep Up. This post will explain it to you in Details, how to work with feeds in orkut.
But before that What is feed and Rss ?? : If you want to know check out Amith Agarwal's post which contain's a very Well explained Video explanation at @ How Do You Subscribe to Blog Feeds ?
Now the actual thing How to Add feeds / rss on your orkut profile ? : Follow these simple steps as given below...
● Navigate to your orkut profile In Your profile, you will see a link to "add stuff"
● Clicking that option would bring you to the page shown in the screenshot below.
● Just enter the Orkut Guide feed url in the space highlighted -
http://feeds.feedburner.com/reckonease
● Click add.
● Now you can click on your feeds to check if we have posted something new on Realtrix.

Orkut from Google is one of the most popular social networking site and is widely used by many all around the world and especially in India. Orkut is quite popular for scrapping which means leaving short messages on your friends scrapbook. Also you could check out your friends scrapbook, albums, videos, etc.. Its one of the best ways of keeping in touch with friends and family. Now we could get one step further you can now view orkut scraps as RSS feeds, ie., read your (or anyones) orkut scrap with out loging in to orkut via a feed reader or a RSS reader (i would recommend Netvibes.com). Heres how to go about it.
1. Login to your orkut account, then go to your scrapbook.
2. Copy the uid number from the address bar. eg.. If your URL is http://www.orkut.com/Scrapbook.aspx?uid=23324521232134466 then 23324521232134466 is your uid.
3. Now to convert this scrapbook to an RSS feed file go http://www.indian-tv.com/orkut.php?uid=xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
(where instead of xxxxxxxxxxxxx type in your uid... in this case it would be 23324521232134466)
4. Now copy the complete URL ie., (http://www.indian-tv.com/orkut.php?uid=23324521232134466) and subscribe via any of your RSS reader, like Netvibes.com, Google reader, Yahoo reader or Feedburner etc.
You could also keep track of others scrapbook by using their uid instead of yours... so sit back and be in touch..
